I’m surprised no one else seems to have noticed this connection yet.
The panel on the right is from another Jim Lee book “Superman: For Tomorrow,” in which Lois Lane along with a million other people mysteriously disappear while Superman’s distracted, and Superman has to spend a year without her, fearing she may have been killed, only to be triumphantly reunited after he discovers the truth of the disappearance.
The page on the Left is New52 Superman making out with Wonder Woman in the exact same pose, just to rub it in our faces that Lois and Clark are no longer together.
